Race Weekend
November 3-5, 2023
In-person run/walk on campus: Saturday, November- 4, 2023
Registration: 9:30 a.m.
Race: 10 a.m.
We're excited to announce that our 4th Annual Run will once again have an in-person component with a 2.5 mile on-campus Fun Run (or walk)! Our in-person race will take place on Saturday, November 4 at 10 a.m.
Can't join us on campus? Virtual runs/walks can be logged throughout the weekend of November 3-5.

Alumni,
parents, students, friends, and fans of Fairfield are invited to join
us as we run (or walk) to benefit current Fairfield
University Students at our 4th Annual Stags Run for Stags!
Participants
will receive a race bib to commemorate their run (virtual participants will receive their bib via email ahead of the
race).
And, registration fee goes to benefit the fund of your
choice, helping to directly support students in need at Fairfield University.
Alumni/Parent/Friend/Faculty or Staff Registration
Fee: $15
Current Student (Class of 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027) Registration Fee: $10 ($10 gift to Fairfield. Seniors, this counts towards your $24 senior class gift).
How To Participate:
1. Register to secure your spot. Participate individually or create a team of fellow Stags! Registration for the on-campus race closes at 11:59 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, November 1.
2. Run/Walk/Bike the distance on a
course of your choosing:
On campus: Saturday, November 4, 10 a.m. (Registration, 9:30 a.m.)
Virtually: Friday, November 3 – Sunday, November 5.
Feel free to use your favorite tracking
app or sports watch to help keep track of your time and distance. Please note,
this is not an official timed/qualifying event.
Race Options:
- On campus Fun Run (or Walk): approx 2.5 mile loop of campus
- Virtual Run/Walk/Bike: select the length of your route! Ideas include a virtual 2.5 mile walk, a 5k, 10k, or our "Stag Challenge" (A combination of both a 5K and 10K for a total of approximately 9.8
miles)
3.
In-person participants will receive their bib at
registration. Virtual participants will receive a link to download their
bib prior to the race.
4. Post a
picture or video of your run and share (brag!) with us and your friends!
There will be awards throughout
the weekend for in-person and virtual participants in categories such as:
- “Most Fairfield Pride” (most Stag
gear worn during race)
- “Cutest Future Stag” (for children
10 and under)
- “Stags Who Run Together Stay
Together” (for our StagMates who run the course together – be sure to includes
names and class years in your post)
- “Stags Are Stronger In Herds”
(largest – socially distanced – running group!)
- And more!
